The Austrian-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (ATAZ) was established in Vienna in 2009 at the initiative of leading entrepreneurs from both countries. The Chamber’s activities are geared towards the intensification and strengthening of economic relations between Azerbaijan and both Austria and Central Europe.

Viennese Urban Technologies for Azerbaijan
On September 19 and 20, the Vienna-Baku Business Forum will be held in the capital of Azerbaijan. The Austrian Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (ATAZ) is acting as co-organizer together with the City of Vienna and AzPromo.
Vienna enjoys international recognition for its high quality of living and environmental standards. The Austrian capital was repeatedly elected as most livable city worldwide as well as "World City closest to Sustainable Waste Management" and "World Capital of Public Transport". These and other signs of international recognition are the result of innovative urban technologies continously further developed jointly by the Vienna City Administration and other enterprises. The Vienna-Baku Business Forum is therefore designed as a platform for top experts and enterprises from Azerbaijan and Austria to exchange experiences and discuss possible cooperation projects.
The Business Forum will feature welcome and opening speeches by representatives of the Azerbaijani Government and the City of Vienna, followed by a guided tour of the exhibition "Vienna Know-how. Urban technologies and strategies". Panel discussions will be held on crucial issues like Waste and Sewage Management, Green Energies and Energy Efficiency, Traffic Management and Control Systems, Culture and Tourism as well as Public Services by e-Government.
